Retired Sacramento County Superior Court judge, Hon. Anthony DeCristoforo, Jr. J.D. ’58 has died at age 90. Tony had a long and distinguished legal career. He served as Staff Judge Advocate in Austria and Italy while in the U.S. Army, and ran a successful law practice in Sacramento for 26 years before being appointed to the bench in 1985 by Governor Deukmejian. After retirement, he continued to preside over jury trials before enjoying total retirement. He considered himself the most fortunate man alive for the happiness he shared with his wife of 57 years, and their four children, including son Anthony DeCristoforo J.D. ’93, and five grandchildren, including Anthony DeCristoforo ’22 and Elise DeCristoforo ’18.
