Henry Paul Hensley ’63 graduated from SCU with a bachelor’s in civil engineering. He worked as a civil engineer for Caltrans, District 4, for 41 years. During that time, he worked with E. Jackson (Jack) Going Jr. ’49 on the Alameda reroute. Paul retired with the title of chief deputy district director. He enjoyed his retirement and loves to say he was on vacation every day because of living in the Bay Area, where most people like to go on vacation. He died on March 31, 2019, at 78 years old. He is survived by his wife of over 50 years, his two daughters and their husbands, and one granddaughter.
