Henry Manayan J.D. ’83 was named CEO of Viratech. He was appointed to a White House advisory group on Asian-Pacific affairs by President Bill Clinton. Manayan served three terms as the mayor of Milpitas and was the first Asian American person elected to the position. He is also the founder and president of the Transpacific Companies, a finance and investment company based in Silicon Valley and San Diego, California.
