Born and raised in Helsinki, Henry Kuhlman MBA ’64 was a talented musician and had his own successful swing band in Finland. He always had his saxophone with him, and enjoyed playing it well into retirement. Henry was the first person in his family to go to university, attending Svenska Handelshögskolan in Helsinki. Later in life he went into business selling specialized equipment for the manufacture of injectable pharmaceuticals. His success representing a Finnish manufacturer led him to being recognized in 1986 as a Knight of the Finnish Lion. Henry was a kind, good humored man, and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. He died on May 20, 2022, and is survived by son Carl-Erik Khulman ’93.
