Heidi Keefe J.D. ’95 was named to the Top Women Lawyers list by The Daily Journal. Keefe is a Palo Alto-based Intellectual Property partner at Cooley LLP. Some of Keefe’s notable clients include Facebook, Inc., HTC Corporation, Microsoft Corporation, eBay Inc., Nike, and LinkedIn Corporation. She represents clients in high-stakes patent trials before juries and judges. Keefe has played a leading role in the defense of Facebook’s patent litigation cases since 2007, and is currently co-leading Cooley’s legal team representing Facebook in its patent litigation suits with Yahoo!.

Keefe studied law at Santa Clara University, graduating cum laude and received her B.A. from Wellesley College. A former astrophysicist and registered patent attorney, she understands a variety of technical disciplines.
