2016

Gus Hardy ’16 is the Valedictorian for the Class of 2016, who will graduate with a double major in Religious Studies and Political Science and a minor in Catholic Studies. The honor is conferred annually on a graduating senior selected for outstanding academic achievement and University service. Gus is graduating with a 3.915 GPA and a double major in Religious Studies and Political Science and a minor in Catholic Studies.  He is a recipient of the Santa Clara Presidential Scholarship, the Kathleen de Young Heffernan scholarship for excellence in Theology, and the Jean Donovan Fellowship. Gus has served as a Senator with Associated Student Government for two years, and as a Hospitality Intern and a Search Retreat Leader in Campus Ministry.  He is also a Neighborhood Prosperity Initiative Fellow in the Leavey School of Business. After graduation, Gus will be moving to Missoula, Montana to work as a Jesuit Volunteer for a non-profit organization.
