In summer 2020,  Gerard Rose ’68, JD ’73, who lives in Chicago and in Carmel-by-the-Sea, published his eighth book, “More Adventures of Hamilton & Egbert” (Seton Publishing, 2020). His new book is the second of two children’s books. In addition, he is the author of six historical novels. Besides writing fiction, Gerard has been practicing law for 45 years and has served on Carmel City Council from 2000 to 2010, and as a volunteer for various non-profits on the Monterey Peninsula. He is married to a clinical psychologist Marian Fitzgibbon and has five children (all of whom graduated from Jesuit universities) and five grandchildren.
