The work of the late George Bolling ’72, a Santa Clara University alum and video curator at the de Saisset Art Gallery and Museum in the 1970s (he was the first video curator at any museum on the West Coast), was featured in a show at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art this spring. Bolling’s 1979 documentary "Newport Beach Revisited" was screened March 5 – June 1. His pioneering curatorial work and videography at the de Saisset Art Gallery and Museum in the 1970s is the subject of a post on the SFMOMA blog Open Space by Tanya Zimbardo.
