George Asimos ’56 had an extraordinary gift for making people feel seen. He served as a U.S. Navy officer, rising to the rank of lieutenant, and later settled in Saratoga with his wife, Gloria, where they raised five daughters. Over 30 years at Lockheed Martin, George designed satellites and thermal protection tiles for the space shuttle. Later, he harnessed an entrepreneurial spirit by partnering with Gloria in founding a tax preparation business and working as an enrolled agent. George died on March 21, 2025.
