Fred L. Doelker Jr. ’47, known to his family as Pancho, died peacefully in his sleep on March 31, 2010. He had been in declining health for some time. Born in Alameda and raised in Oakland, he graduated from Santa Clara University and taught English and Latin for 26 years in Campbell. He loved music and volunteered for years at Opera San Jose. He greatly missed Jimmy, his loving partner of a half-ntury, as well as the many dogs they shared their home with over the years. Pancho will be sorely missed by his sister, Fredi, along with his six nieces and nephews and their children.
