Frank H. Filice Jr. M.A. ’71, a resident of Los Gatos, passed away on June 1. He was a strong, passionate, and kind man who loved God, his family, and friends. Frank spent 39 years in the Campbell Union High School district as a coach, drafting teacher, counselor, vice principal, and principal.
Frank was born in 1937 in San Jose, graduated from San Jose State University, and earned his master’s degrees in counseling and education at Santa Clara University. He was married in 1974 and had two children. He was a devout family man who enjoyed coaching his children’s sports teams, playing golf, volunteering for the church and community, and playing cards and chess.
Frank is survived by his loving wife, Frances; devoted children Frank and Christy; daughter-in-law Heather; and grandchildren Nico and Cora.
