1953

A person who loved striking up casual conversations with strangers, Francis McEnaney ’53 was a world traveler and a lifelong learner. Frank spent his career practicing law for the California State Department of Transportation. Proud of his Irish heritage, he visited Ireland several times. On road trips, he would dazzle family and friends with trivia about obscure towns throughout the country and deep historical knowledge of the country. A Catholic who served as an usher and read the Bible almost daily, Frank also read the Torah, Quran, and Book of Mormon, finding valuable insights. Frank died Sept. 28, 2022.
