Retired Superior Court Judge, County of Santa Clara, Eugene M. Hyman J.D. ’77 continues to speak to both national and international audiences about, and publish articles on, issues surrounding domestic violence in the criminal and family courts—especially with co-occurring issues of substance abuse and mental health. He has a special interest in domestic violence as it affects children in the home and in the family court setting and an understanding of sexual abuse, stalking, and strangulation as they intersect with domestic violence. Hyman taught as a lecturer at SCU School of Law for over 25 years.
