Erik Hurtado ’13, who spent nearly six seasons playing Major League Soccer for the Vancouver Whitecaps, will have a new team to call home this year: Kansas City’s Sporting KC. Hurtado was a standout player during his time as a striker at Santa Clara, helping win the 2010 West Coast Conference championship and leading the WCC in shots his junior year.
