Eric Schultz MBA ’87 was born on May 24, 1960, in Sanger, California, to William and Jeanne Schultz, moving to Yuba City, California, in 1965. He completed his schooling in Yuba City, graduating from Yuba City High School in 1978 and Yuba College in 1980. Eric transferred to Cal Poly, where he majored in mechanical engineering. After graduation, Eric began working for FMC in Santa Clara and remained with that group through various corporation changes for approximately 23 years. His last employment was with the BAE Corporation. While working in Santa Clara, Eric earned his MBA. In 2014, he moved to Old Station, California, to help his parents care for their mountain house. Eric and his dad were close hunting and fishing buddies. They could often be heard recounting their stories while tying flies or carving duck decoys. Eric loved the outdoors and spent his last years exploring the mountains and lakes of the Northern Sierra, while fishing and duck hunting at every opportunity. He passed away on Feb. 2, 2018, and is sorely missed by his mother, Jeanne; brothers Jeff (Laura) and William; nephew Jeffrey; and niece Katie. His beloved father, Bill, predeceased him.
