For more than 60 years, Emily Martha Young M.A. ’97 served as an organist, pianist, music teacher, and director in various churches. She earned her master of arts in liturgical music from Santa Clara University. Forty-six years prior, in 1951, Emily received her bachelor’s in music from Eastern Nazarene College, and married her college sweetheart, Edward Young. She died in San Luis Obispo on March 7, 2021. Emily is survived by three daughters, six grandchildren, and four great-granddaughters.
