Born in Sasobo, Japan, a small village on the southernmost island, Elizabeth Nobriga ’96 took great pride in her dual citizenship. Throughout her high school years, Liz developed a deep passion for horses, becoming an avid participant in three-day eventing, and was known for her generosity in teaching local children horsemanship and riding lessons. Liz was also a devoted reader with an incredible imagination, often turning to the works of Shakespeare for pleasure and weaving her own creative stories. Liz died on Nov. 16, 2024.
