With a big heart, Elizabeth Burns ’93 was happiest when she could bring comfort to those around her. For 11 years, she worked as a cardiac ICU nurse, and she often shared countless stories from her time in the field. Elizabeth found immense joy in laughter, and the simple pleasure of being at the family cottage on Lake Pocotopaug, in Connecticut. Elizabeth’s love for animals was equally deep; she always had at least one dog by her side, each one a cherished member of her family. Elizabeth died on Feb. 9, 2025.
