1945

Everyday was jam-packed with a new adventures and loving memories for Edward Tuft ’45. As a licensed architect, he found work close to home and afar, designing medical schools across the U.S. and hotels as far away as Saudi Arabia. His work also had him working with famous architects and on buildings like the Texas State Capitol and even the palaces of Saudi kings and queens. In the words of his bonus granddaughter, he was a most faithful, positive, kind, and upstanding man. Ed was a Southern California beach boy through and through, who loved nothing better than spending time at the beach fishing and swimming. Ed died on Dec. 7, 2021 and those close to him joke that God had a better job offer and he had to relocate.
