Edward O’Brien ’53 met Mary Mondo on a blind date and loved her every day of his life until her 2021 death. For 60 years he worked at the State of California Attorney General’s Office, becoming Chief Deputy heading up the office’s Criminal Division and arguing several cases before the U.S. Supreme Court. What will be most missed is the unconditional love and support he unfailingly showered on those closest to him. Ed died June 18, 2022 and is survived by extended family, including grandson William O’Brien ’25.
