Edward Francis Reilly MBA ’81 passed away on May 19, 2011. A resident of Sunnyvale, Edward was born in Astoria, N.Y., where he attended elementary and high school. He obtained his bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from the New Jersey Institute of Technology and his MBA from Santa Clara University. He is survived by his three children, Colleen Reilly, Ed Reilly, and Maureen Reilly Wahl; his first grandchild, Shay; and also by his ex-wife Mary Ann Reilly. Ed was an eloquent lover of knowledge and life. He followed the news closely, always prepared to debate the salient points of popular politics, whether local or international, modern or historical. Ed was a uniquely clever and witty man. We mourn his passing and forever celebrate his life.
