Edward Dodge M.S. ’72 began his career working at Varian and Associates, biking seven miles to work daily, and logging over 100,000 miles during his career. After 40 years of radar tube manufacturing for government contracts, he retired from CPI. Ed met Linda in 1964 and they married three years later. They raised two children while becoming more involved in their community through activities like Indian Princesses, and supporting Cal Football and the San Francisco Giants. Ed was always active—jogging, backpacking, biking, and woodworking. He was also a dedicated volunteer with the Y’s Men of Santa Clara Valley, and the Point Sur Lighthouse, where he helped restore, paint, and give tours. Edward died on Jan. 6, 2025.
