Faith was a key part of the life Doug Harper ’60 built. He attended daily mass at St. Christopher Parish, served as a Eucharistic Minister, participated in the nursing home ministry, and was active in social justice, writing a column for the parish bulletin. He was also a volunteer in the Ombudsman Program at Catholic Charities. Doug worked as a psychiatrist and was known for his dedication to his patients. With his wife of 60 years, Barbara, Doug raised six children, including Julia Cooper ’84. He died on Nov. 15, 2020.
