Donlan Jones ’52 had a passion for teaching. While the majority of his professional career was spent at Tektronix, he also spent several stints as a professor of electrical engineering at Santa Clara University and various community colleges. After retiring from Tektronix, Don taught mathematics at Our Lady of the Lake Elementary School in Lake Oswego for more than 25 years. He was a devoted member of the Our Lady Of The Lake Catholic community for more than 54 years. Don died on April 17, 2023, and is survived by extended family including daughters Kathleen Cushing ’80 and Terese Kemble ’83, and sons Robert ’81 and Michael Jones ’82.
