Donald W. Paxton, II ’70 died March 20, 2021, in Fair Oaks, California. He attended Mira Loma High School, and was a proud alumnus of the Santa Clara University baseball team. He returned to the Sacramento area to raise his family. After his baseball days at SCU, he helped many players by coaching youth baseball and also served as the President of Fair Oaks Little League. He worked as an accountant for Glenzer and Dunnigan and finished his career as chief financial officer for the Barber Auto Group. He enjoyed baseball, golf, the Sacramento Kings and watching his grandchildren play sports. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, two children, including son Don Paxton ’97, siblings, and six grandchildren.
