At Windham-Ashland-Jewett Central School, Donald Thompson MBA ’68  played saxophone in the band and also excelled in sports. During the summer Don would go to the Catskill and work at the Thompson House. After getting his degree in engineering and his MBA, his workplace shifted from resorts to space. At Lockheed Martin Space Systems, he worked on satellites and the space shuttle for more than 20 years. In his retirement, he traveled with his wife. Don was an avid golfer and golfed 18 holes the morning he passed away on Feb. 14 2022.
