Doanld M. Perlenda ’50 died in Santa Rosa on March 15, 2011. A native of Santa Clara, he had his college years interrupted by his US Army service in the European theatre during WWII. After graduating from SCU, he worked in agriculture, first with the State of California and then with Moyer Chemical Company, both in San Jose, and after 1958 in Watsonville, retiring in 1992. During his retirement, Don traveled extensively and was a longtime member of the St Joseph’s Catholic Community. He is survived by his daughters, Pam ’73 and Debbie, and his step-hildren Tim Reding ’74, Terry Reding, and Carol Reding Sisney ’82.
