Dina Marie Salcido ’04 and Mark Joseph Mohnacky ’04, M.S. ’05 were married at Mission San Luis Obispo on October 16, 2010. Father Ed Jalbert, C.J., of St. Joseph High School celebrated the Nuptial Mass during which the bride and groom exchanged rings. The bride is the daughter of Frank and Rosanne Salcido of Santa Maria. The groom is the son of Craig and Rose Mohnacky of Rancho Santa Fe. Members of the wedding party included maid of honor Anna Salcido, sister of the bride, of Santa Barbara; bridesmaids Tara Bussiere Salcido of Redondo Beach, Alicia Kachmarik ’04 of Anaconda, Montana, Stacy Greenwood ’04 of San Jose, Becky Biniek ’04 of San Francisco, and Lisa Hickey ’04 of Santa Monica; and flower girls Catie and Libby Nester of Edwards, Illinois, and Audrey Gruben of Snoqualmie, Washington. Best man was Drew Mohnacky, brother of the bridegroom, of Rancho Santa Fe. Serving as groomsmen were Michael Salcido of Redondo Beach, Dana Smith of Vista, Charlie Letts ’04 of Charleston, South Carolina, Darren Chamow MBA ’14 of San Mateo, and Mike Allerding of Loudonville, Ohio. A long-time friend of the bride, Christine Diaz, was vocalist, and readers included Tim Allerding, Lynsey Kehrli ’04, and AnnMarie Schmersal. Presentation of the Gifts was made by the Lennox family, and altar servers were Emma and Alex Zumbro. After Mass, reception was oceanside at SeaCrest Resort in Pismo Beach. A Santa Maria-style barbeque dinner was served to 175 guests, followed by dancing. Out-of-town guests were from Rhode Island, Ohio, Washington, Colorado, Florida, Montana, New York, South Carolina, and Illinois. Dina graduated from St. Joseph High School with the Class of 2000. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications from Santa Clara University in 2004 and is a web marketing analyst and consultant for Murad Inc. of El Segundo. Mark graduated from Carlsbad High School, Class of 2000. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering in 2004 and a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering in 2005 from Santa Clara University. He is a Communication Systems Engineer for Northrop Grumman in Rancho Bernardo and is also a licensed Real Estate broker. After a honeymoon in Tahiti, the newlyweds are at home in Carlsbad.
