Delia Zambetti-Picone was a proud member of the Santa Clara University Catala Club and of the Italian Catholic Federation. She loved her role as a nona and remained active in all of her grandchildren’s lives. She enthusiastically cheered at many baseball, basketball, soccer, and volleyball games and attended countless dance recitals over the years. Nona was adored by all of her grandchildren and will always be remembered as the most spunky, fun-loving, caring, and strong role model. Dale cherished her many friendships and was always looking for the next adventure. She was the life of the party and loved to laugh and meet new people. Dale died on September 11, 2022, and is survived by extended family including son John Picone ’75.
