David Cattrell MBA ’73 has joined the board of Getabout, a van service for seniors and those needing special assistance, in New Canaan, Conn. Originally from San Diego, he spent 39 years in commercial banking with Bankers Trust Company and Citibank. He retired as a managing director in Citi’s Greenwich private banking office in 2011. Before that, he was with Lockheed Missiles & Space Company for five years as a systems engineer.

Cattrell also is vice president of the board of directors of New Canaan Group Home Inc., which owns and operates South Avenue Cottage, a home for six adults with developmental disabilities. He is active with St. Michael’s Lutheran Church, where he serves on the congregation counsel as vice president and assistant treasurer. He and his wife, Penny, have lived in New Canaan for 25 years.
