Darren Bouton ’91 was a long-time government affairs advocate in California and energy policy expert. He worked hard as deputy cabinet secretary to Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger to implement the governor’s energy, environmental and natural resources policy. Later in life, Darren worked for First Solar and Edison International before opening his own consulting firm, Bouton Strategy and Advocacy. He deeply loved his family, golf, and entertaining others. Darren died on September 4, 2021.
