Cynthia Hollman M.A. ’82 earned a black belt in jujitsu from the Zen Budokai School in San Francisco while also organizing and teaching self-defense courses for women. After moving to Massachusetts, Cynthia became a beloved figure in the PTOs of her daughter’s elementary and middle schools. Her passions spanned gardening, cooking, and figure skating to traveling and outdoor adventures like kayaking. She also loved mystery novels and monster movies. Cynthia died on Sept. 23, 2024.
