After serving seven years in the California Legislature (51st Assembly District and 26th Senate District) Curren D. Price Jr. J.D. ’76 has returned to public service in Los Angeles. In June 2013, he was elected to the Los Angeles City Council, 9th District. On the council he chairs the Economic Development Committee and serves on the ad hoc committee to oversee and coordinate the city’s bid and participation in hosting the 2024 Summer Olympics. He is married to businessswoman and social activist Del Richardson, and they have two grown children and three grandkids.
