Colette Rausch J.D. ’90 is the author of a recently published book, Speaking Their Peace: Personal Stories from the Frontlines of War and Peace. With a foreword from the Dalai Lama, Speaking Their Peace contains 80 interviews from 11 countries and gives a voice to people who have not been heard before, people silenced by the trauma of conflict, gagged by fear and conformity, or muted by the world’s indifference. See: Speakingtheirpeace.org. Rausch has worked for 20 years to build the justice, security, and the rule of law in countries emerging from conflicts. She is currently the vice president for Governance, Law & Society at the United States Institute of Peace in Washington, D.C.
