1966

Christine Pratt ’66 wanted to explore the world. After finishing most of her schooling in California, Chris was ready to explore new horizons and spent a year abroad in Rome. From there, she worked as a research assistant in the psychology laboratory at the Denver Veterans Administration Hospital in Colorado, where she met her husband, Peter Pratt. The two would later move to Guam and start a family before moving to Montana. Chris thrived in Montana’s long snowy winters and became an enthusiastic alpine skier and cross-country skier, and learned to ice skate. She loved sports and animals, culminating when she helped open a community fitness center in the mid 1980s and started her own alpaca business. Chris died Dec. 3, 2023.
