Marine Chris Sharkey ’65 served in Vietnam, where he flew over 500 missions and earned 27 air medals. At home, he ventured into a varied entrepreneurial career, including candy distribution and owning a liquor store. Though initially a tough dad, he softened with age, revealing his deep love for his six children and 13 grandchildren. Chris adored his wife, Jane, their dogs, and relished watching “Dateline” and sipping strong margaritas. His life was marked by captivating stories, hearty laughter, unwavering faith, and global service, with his prayers famously concluding, “God Bless Everyone! No Exceptions!” Chris died on Nov. 3, 2023.
