At SCU Charles ‘Dick’ Scanlan ’56 served both on the football team and in the ROTC before graduating with a degree in accounting. He went on to marry Carolan and raised six children together. He retired from Lockheed Missiles and Space Co., after 35 years, as vice president of finance and enjoyed time traveling. Dick died on Dec. 14, 2020.
