1967

Charles Forrest Bannan ’67, J.D. ’70 came from a proud line of Broncos. The son of Idell and Charles Bannan ’37, a men’s basketball hall of famer, Forrest had dozens of relatives educated at Santa Clara. With a brilliant mind and adventurous heart, Forrest spent time in Hermosa Beach and Aspen before moving to Washington, D.C., where he began his legal career with the Department of Justice. In 1977, he married Sharon, and together they raised three sons. Forrest continued practicing law with dedication and integrity, eventually founding his own firm, Bannan, Green, Frank & Terzian. After semi-retiring, he embraced life’s quieter joys: time with his beloved grandchildren, golf, social clubs, family gatherings, and close friendships. Forrest died on Feb. 18, 2025.
