Charles F. Leonhardt, Jr. ’54 died on July 27, 2010. Charles (Chuck) was born on December 19, 1930 to Charles Sr. and Edith Leonhardt and graduated from Lincoln High School in San Francisco. Chuck later graduated from Santa Clara University with a degree in Civil Engineering. He served in the Army and spent his life traveling around the world working as an engineer on various water projects. Chuck married Lucille Gossett and they were blessed with two daughters, Edith and Judith. Chuck was an avid runner and golfer, spending most of his life enjoying both passions. Although he spent most of his adult life outside of the United States, Chuck always loved and thought of San Francisco as his true home and was a staunch fan of the San Francisco 49’ers. Chuck is survived by his second wife, Lennie Leonhardt; his loving sister Lois Pape (Ron); his daughters Dr. Edith A. Kaeuper (John) and Judith del Pinal (Hugo); and his grandson James E. Kaeuper.
