Charles “Chuck” Bobinecz MBA ’64 was born in Granger, Indiana, and graduated from Mishawaka High School. He earned a degree in business accounting from Indiana University and his MBA from SCU. After serving in the U.S. Army during the Korean War, Chuck enjoyed a long business career, retiring in 1995. He was an avid world traveler and achieved master gardener accreditation through UC Davis. Chuck was an active member of SIRS Chapter 146. He passed away on Feb. 9, 2018, and touched many lives with his love for family, friends and the outdoors. Chuck is survived by his loving wife, Mary; devoted children Mary Jo Kemper (Brian), Carol O’Keefe (Brian), Michael Bobinecz (Janet); and six grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his youngest daughter, Theresa Alleman (Mike). He is also survived by sisters Helen Orisich (Frank), Mary Stuglik (Edwin), and Marge Schwind (Jack).
