Cecilia JoAnne Sinatra was a member of the Santa Clara Chorale for many years and the choir director at Our Lady of Peace Church in Santa Clara. Highlights of her career included singing at the Vatican and a performance of Brubeck’s jazz Mass, To Hope! A Celebration with Singers Around the Bay. JoAnne retired to South Lake Tahoe fulfilling her dream of owning her “cabin in the woods”. She spent her time hiking on the Tahoe rim trail, watching tennis, gardening, volunteering at her church community, and spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was a multi-talented individual who had a passion for sharing her gifts and encouraged others to share theirs. She touched the hearts of all who came in contact with her in the schools, churches, and communities where she worked.

She died on July 2, 2022 and a celebration of life is scheduled for Sunday, November 20 at 2:30 PM in the Mission Church.
