The Redding, California, law firm of Barr and Mudford has announced the addition of Catie Barr ’10, J.D. ’13 to its roster of attorneys.
Third-generation north state born and raised, Ms. Barr is also a third-generation lawyer. Her grandfather, Everett Barr, was born in Mt. Shasta, served as a trial lawyer for many years and then as a Superior Court judge in Siskiyou County. Her father, Dugan Barr, born in Yreka, came to Redding and has been practicing Personal Injury Law since 1967.
While in law school, Ms. Barr worked in the Santa Clara County Public Defender’s office, volunteered with the Innocence Project, a volunteer organization that hears appeals of individuals who it appears may have been wrongly convicted of a crime, and she worked as clerk for one of Santa Clara County’s Superior Court judges.
