Camille Courey ’86 was a dedicated educator who generated excellence in her students and loved collaborating with her colleagues. Camille initially trained in deaf education; however, after a career shift to assistant city attorney in San Jose and Berkeley, she returned to her first love and taught English at Wilcox High School in Santa Clara. Camille was a smart, funny, insightful, soulful, and kind person who loved talking with her nieces and nephews. A terrific mimic, she made everyone laugh. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, movies, reading, traveling, and hanging out with friends and family. Camille died on April 17, 2023.
