1965

A dedicated civil servant, Burman Skrable ’65 played a key role in shaping the national unemployment insurance system. Even after retiring in 2015, he remained committed to helping others through nonprofit work. A loving husband, father, and grandfather, his dry humor and storytelling endeared him to many. His deep faith guided him as a coach, catechist, and lector. Burman’s warmth and famous homemade French bread will be dearly missed. Burman died on Aug. 21, 2024.
