Bryan Donaldson ’09 is the brewing innovation manager at Lagunitas Brewing Co., working closely with various departments to ensure that Lagunitas stays on the forefront of the brewing industry. After completing his master’s degree in brewing and fermentation science at UC Davis, he interned at Anheuser-Busch and worked as a brewer at Sierra Nevada Brewing Company. At Lagunitas, he also assists specialty brewing in testing new recipes and ideas—and his favorite brew is whatever is currently in his hands—or A Little Sumpin’ Sumpin’. Bryan lives in Santa Rosa with his wife, Karen, and dog, Apollo. He is also the Napa/Santa Rosa Chapter president of the SCU Alumni Association.
