Brian Lawther J.D. ’68 loved being able to make a difference in people’s lives. Often playing David against wealthy companies’ Goliaths, Brian advocated for the unjustly injured. His litigation skills and pursuit of justice led him to meet his wife. The love of his life, Jill, hobbled into his office one day and after Jill’s case was settled, Brian invited her to dinner. The two were together until his death on May 27, 2021. Aside from being an outstanding lawyer, he was just as good a golfer, member of the prestigious Olympic Club in San Francisco, and won the club championship in 1988.
