Originally from Illinois, Brian Declan Cunningham, JD ’71 made his way to California for college and into being Cal mascot Oski for football games. He stayed west, earning his law degree from SCU and marrying a fellow Bronco, Peggy Cunningham ’68. He opened a private practice and then worked in real estate investment, served on the Gilroy City Council, sang in his church choir, and provided regular words of support and care to the couple’s three children. Brian died on Nov. 9, 2020.
