Brett Lowart ’81 has earned the title 2015 Santa Claran of the Year by the Alumni Association’s Los Angeles chapter for his dedication to Catholic education and for putting Santa Clara values into action every day. He has served in Catholic education since 1983, most recent as president at Notre Dame High School for the past six years. He also served as president at San Joaquin Memorial High School in Fresno (2002–2009), as VP at St. Patrick’s Seminary in Menlo Park (1996–2002), and as director of development/instructor at Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory in San Francisco (1983–1996).
