Bill Shindler ’53 went to work in the steel industry immediately after graduation, working in Seattle and the East Bay as a structural engineer. After the death of his first wife Therese, Bill met his cousin’s widow Charla Riedl in Milwaukie, where the pair married and lived until his death in November 2019. He is survived by Charla and their blended family of 8 children.
