Sports made a common thread through the life of Benjamin Vega ’72. At SCU, he played basketball, flag football, and softball. As a dad, he cut a familiar figure on the sidelines of his son’s games. In work, he coached as well as taught social studies at Gilroy High School, where he had been a student as well. Ben died Aug. 24, 2021.
